Navy Broadway WestPACIFIC GATEWAY NAVY

A new skyline for San Diego and the city’s first 5-star hotel are among the glories anticipated for the long-awaited redevelopment of the Navy Broadway Complex. Tucker Sadler was retained in collaboration with Manchester Financial Group and Gensler for the redevelopment of the Navy Broadway Complex into a mixed-use waterfront attraction. This prime 12.07 acre parcel will include a new administration building with 18 floors, 250,871 SF of office space and 42,892 SF of retail space, for a total of 293,763 SF.

 

GloriettaBayGLORIETTA BAY MARINA & OFFICE BUILDING
Coronado, California


This redevelopment project includes the reconstruction of the marina docks, boat rental dock and Marina Office Building. The Marina Office Building will be rebuilt to increase office space and improve and increase amenities provided to slip occupants of the marina. Approximately 3,200 SF, the newly designed marina office building will be two stories; the 1st floor will include bathrooms, mechanical and storage and the 2nd floor will be comprised of office and tenant space. The new office building will incorporate a sculpture niche which is intended as a public art opportunity.

 

BOfABANK OF AMERICA REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS

This complex includes administrative offices, a five-bay maintenance shop, a materials storage warehouse facility and a major staging storage yard beginning three stories above a 60,000 SF plaza. Design of this complex was honored with the San Diego BIA “Golden Tower” Award.

 

ACE_KOLLACE/KOLL COLUMBIA SQUARE
San Diego, California


The 240,000 SF Columbia Square building was completed in November of 1990. By cutting out less than 150 feet on each 16,000 SF typical floor and 350 SF on the upper two levels, Tucker Sadler and Associates’ designers carved out a vertical tower from a basic box. Along with the stepping treatment on the façade, Columbia Square has a generous motor court entry, retail shops and a pedestrian scaled grounded plane which adds to the urban fabric of the area.

 

RegentsREGENTS PARK FINANCIAL CENTER
La Jolla, California


Regents Park Financial Center lies in the heart of the Golden Triangle, serving as the focal point at the entry of Regents Park, a 27 acre planned, mixed-use development. The Financial Center sets the tone for the entire development; contemporary architecture sensitive to its’ progressive urban environment, combined with the understated elegance reminiscent of older La Jolla.

Tucker Sadler Architects, in association with Edward Larrabee Barnes of New York, have master planned this 314 acre mixed-use development. The site includes hotel, office, research and development, financial, retail, restaurant and recreational facilities. The two buildings, a six and three story, offer state-of-the-art facilities, including a private gym and café at the plaza level. The entry lobby incorporates a high-tech, full height glass entry, marble panels and stainless steel detailing. The design features extensive use of granite cladding combined with signature green glazing of the office windows. In addition, balconies at the sixth floor offer dramatic views of the neighboring canyons. Stonecrest is one of the premier office addresses in San Diego County.

 

ColumbiaParkingCOLUMBIA PARKING GARAGE
San Diego, California

This 10-floor mixed-use building designed by Tucker Sadler Architects contains eight floors of parking, which serves as the building’s principle purpose. The structure’s ground floor will contain meeting and conference rooms for an adjacent hotel and the top two floors are to be offices. Parking capacity for the garage is 600 cars. Perforated metal cladding will be used over a concrete frame for the garage’s guardrail panels. Tucker Sadler Architects is serving as design architect for the building. The building’s owner, 5-Star Parking, will handle construction documents.
